This day commemorates the effective ending of Slavery in June 1865 in Galveston, TX. It goes by many names. Whether you call it Emancipation Day, Freedom Day or the country’s second Independence Day, Juneteenth is one of the most important anniversaries in our nation’s history. So bring your friends and the entire family to one of the BEST festivals in Georgia and enjoy shopping with a variety of 100+ adult and kid vendors, swag bags, food trucks, dancing, stilt walkers, games, stage performances from local artist, choirs, surprise special guest, a host of entertainment and so much more. This Pre-Juneteenth Festival allows vendors and families an opportunity to shop, sell and have fun a full week before the actual day. This is definitely a festival that you do not want to miss!
